clinical trials through the US National Institutes of Health, says Dr. Robert Winn, an expert on cancer treatment from Virginia Commonwealth University. These
precision medicine treatments are not yet widely available, but biomarker testing can help patients identify the trials that may be most helpful for their
specific non-small-cell lung cancer.
